Resilient Safefy Surfacing - Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning: Playground safety surface should be swept or blown off on a regular basis to keep it free of sand, dirt and other debris. Minor stains can be removed with ordinary detergent and a soft bristle brush then hosed off with potable water. Maintenance: Deep cleaning can be done with a high-pressure water blaster. This should only be performed by experienced personnel as too much pressure can damage the surfacing. Repair should be performed by company-trained installers.
